Aarohi walked back into class
Aarohi had stopped attending school when her family could no longer cover fees and transport. SSV's field team worked with her parents, school staff, and local volunteers to remove the practical barriers one by one.

The first step was simple and urgent: get her school admission restored before the term closed. Donor support covered the pending fees, notebooks, a uniform set, and travel support for the first month.

The second step mattered just as much. Aarohi was paired with a mentor who checked in weekly, helped her rebuild study habits, and made sure the family had someone nearby to call when attendance slipped.
Today she is back in class, participating in reading sessions, and telling younger children in her lane that missing a year does not have to mean leaving school forever.
